You would miss them
When I was sent to Iceland by the military, we had some real
crappy TV to watch over there. It was strictly controlled
by the military and we never saw a commercial. Well our commercials
were things like wear your hearing protection or you will
do deaf. WHAT!!!! Well when we first arrived in Iceland
it was great watching TV without any commercials. But then,
after awhile, we began to miss them. Perhaps it was because
it was something that was from home or perhaps we missed
the irritation of someone trying to convince us to do something
or buy something. I think whiners and comlainers would
be missed like those commercials were. So all of you that
like to do that, keep whining and complaining, you do have
an important place in the world even if it is an irritating
one. You remind me that the world isn't perfect. If
it was, I wouldn't want to be here.
